Privacy Policy

1. Data stays on your device

This policy describes data handled by the TMAI application and its plugins. Your files, construction models, and locally stored application data remain on your machine. TMAI prepares model data locally and does not upload it to TMAI servers.

You control your local data and are responsible for securing your device, managing access, and maintaining any backups you need.

2. When you use an AI provider

When you use AI features, the information included in your request is sent to your chosen provider. This may include your prompts and model context supplied to answer them. That information leaves your machine and is processed by the provider; it does not pass through or get stored on TMAI servers.

Providers may include OpenAI (ChatGPT), Anthropic (Claude), and Google (Gemini). Review what you share and use a provider and account appropriate for your data.

3. AI providers handle the data you send them

Each AI provider is responsible for how it processes, stores, protects, and uses data within its own service, under its applicable terms and privacy policies. TMAI does not operate those services or control their data handling practices.

Retention, deletion, and use of data for model training are governed by your provider's terms and your account settings. Contact that provider about data it holds or requests to delete it.

4. Your choices

You choose which AI provider to connect and what information to share. If you do not want data sent to an AI provider, do not submit it through AI features. Deleting a local copy does not delete information already sent to a provider.
